At doppio we strive to offer you an optimal shopping experience. Our customer service is therefore available daily to answer all of your questions and remove any doubts. We have made an overview of the most frequently asked questions below. Purchase & advice
Yes, that’s possible! You can schedule a non-binding test ride at one of our doppio stores. We really take the time there to tell and show you everything about the bike.
Everything you want to know about the operation of the doppio can be found in the user manual. But of course you can always call or email us with questions about your doppio!
Ordering
Yes, you sure can! For business customers we offer the possibility to customize the bike. All doppios can be provided with the company logo and even painted in other colours. Additional costs will be charged for this. Please contact us directly to discuss the possibilities.
Delivery
Because we make every doppio completely roadworthy for every customer, the delivery time of a doppio (when in stock) is 2-3 weeks on average. We give your new doppio a lot of attention to ensure that it drives wonderfully as soon as you get on the bike.
As soon as you have ordered a doppio, our technicians will get to work to get your doppio ready. This means that the bicycle is built with the accessories and settings of your choice. When the bike is ready, you will receive an email from us, after which you can agree on a delivery date. On this day we will ensure that your doppio is ready to be picked up or we will personally deliver it to your shipping address.
Maintenance & Service
We recommend scheduling the first service within 3 months or when you have driven 500 km. Just what comes first. After that, an annual service to keep your doppio tiptop in order is recommended.
During a service (or maintenance) our technicians carry out a number of activities on your doppio to keep it safe, economical and in good condition. This way your doppio stays in good condition for longer and you can enjoy it longer.

Regular service
Customer can make use of doppio Service. However, there are costs associated with this service.
All repairs that fall under the warranty are of course at our expense! Such as, for example, a defect in the electronics or a battery that does not function properly.
All other repairs are at the customer’s expense. Think of a flat tire or a chain that has come to an end.
If you have any questions, you can always contact us of course.
- There is a 2 year warranty on the battery and electrical parts.*
- 1 year warranty applies to parts.
- There is a 5-year warranty on the frame and front fork.
*The decrease in battery capacity is not covered by the warranty.
doppio subscription
Yes, for the business market we have a partnership with Lease a bike. At the beginning of 2020, a new bicycle plan was launched with which employers can easily make a company doppio available. As an employee you only pay a few euros per month for the lease. Every type of company qualifies for this arrangement, so both large BVs, NVs, but also associations, foundations and natural persons such as self-employed persons or a VOF. The arrangement applies to permanent employees as well as employees with a fixed-term contract.

We are of course happy to help you. But in some situations it can be useful to solve it via the ANWB.
Do you have a service subscription with the ANWB?
Then contact the ANWB to have it repaired.
Is the inner tube torn and can it not be repaired by the ANWB?
Order a new inner tube online, the size is 20 inches.
Are you not sure how to solve your problem?
Contact the doppio service center.We’ll send someone your way to replace your tire. There are additional costs associated with this.
We have two options for this
We can mount a mudflap on your doppio so that the water no longer splashes on. Always make an appointment at the service center first.
We can fit an extended rear fender on your doppio. For this you also have to make an appointment at the service center.

The standard buddyseat may not be high enough for you. We have customized buddyseats in multiple sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL) available so you can sit higher or lower. Uncertain about the size? Please contact our customer service.
It is also possible that the standard steering wheel is not optimal for you. We can install a straight handlebar on your doppio so you don’t have to stretch your arms as much. Make an appointment at the doppio service center.
With new doppio’s, we always recommend scheduling the first service within 3 months or when you have driven 500 km.
